This Garmin Fishfinder 140 works well MOREOVER is easy to read, STEADY INSIDE BRILLIANT sunlight. It gives reliable information IN THE MANNER OF EVERYONE boat speeds. The price I got the unit ON BEHALF OF was 20% cheaper than A LITTLE of the local outlets. The only drawback is during installation. Due to the AREA of the electrical connector, to attach the transducer cord to the REAR of the fishfinder, it makes it fairly difficult to thread through the hull of the boat, EXCEPT once in, the unit works fine.
